CEI is seeking an Experienced Stategy Manger to build strategic IT roadmaps for clients. The clients are small to medium sized companies in the Boston area that understand the value of IT. The Technology Strategy Manager will be an outsourced expert acting as an interim CIO or IT Director for our clients. In this role you will be tasked with implementing IT governance and project portfolio management best practices. The Technology Strategy Manager will act as the key point of contact between stakeholders and the IT group for our clients, taking a leadership role in the analysis of business requirements and management of new projects.

• Analyze the complex landscape of existing technology
• Determine resource allocation for projects and manage budgets, project plans, etc
• Develop effective IT management processes, including those for applications development
• Analyze business architecture and strategy for purpose of developing IT-Business alignment strategies and operating models at enterprise and line of business level
• Work closely with executives to develop and implement disaster recovery plans to address natural disasters, computer malfunctions, and/or information security incidents
• Work closely with executives to develop and implement compliance and regulatory standards for SOX, PCI, and HIPAA.

 

The successful candidate will have strong people management and project management skills. This person will be a public speaker that is comfortable presenting to c-level executives and collaborating across all levels of the business. Must have the ability to promote quality standards and measures into IT projects and processes. Moreover, the candidate should feature extensive experience with the following technologies:

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and application products
• Minimum of 5 years external consulting experience
• MBA or related degree required
