QA Engineer | Apply Online
Computer Express, Inc. (CEI) is currently looking for QA Engineer. We are looking for a creative individual to join an engineering team and build QA from the ground up. The QA Engineer will be the owner of the overall system test & qualification responsible for the end-to-end quality of the product. The person should also have extensive in-depth knowledge of web applications and related OS and Network components and the ability to QA a complete system flow.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Will participate in the overall system test & qualification of the product suite. The position requires a hands-on engineer with a strong analytical mindset and an interest in finding out what makes things tick, and then breaking them.

Work closely with Product, Engineering and other stake holders to validate product use cases and requirements.

Design and conduct load, stress and performance tests.

Ability to QA a complete system flow

Design and develop test suite, including test tools and automated tests as needed.

Develop and execute test plans to verify the product specifications and requirements of the application and related infrastructure.

Collaborate with other developers to resolve issues to ensure a quality product is released on time.

Data entry, accurate record keeping of results and completion of paperwork in a timely fashion with attention to detail are also very important.

Troubleshooting inaccuracies or problems in the product or item. Meeting with stake holders to share results and recommendations.

Working and managing third party QA vendor(s) to outsource parts of the testing

Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of the team in developing and testing products is key.

Back-end testing: Load,scale, Failure, Security

Domain expertise in IT Management:Windows,Unix,Storage,Security,Virtualization

Automation - Tools, scripting

Self sufficient - Hands-on, start-up experience

Experience in a short-iterative development cycle
