CEI is seeking a developer to support the information needs of a QA department. This individual will support and enhance an internally- developed .NET/ SQL Server application. The right individual will work closely with our clients’ leadership teams to understand their requirements and develop appropriate solutions, including:

• Translating user requirements into functional requirements and design, document, develop, validate, release, maintain and support application solutions using Microsoft .NET components.
• Write validated test plans and protocols. Execute those protocols.
• Develop user training material.
• Plan, develop, validate and implement data migrations from legacy systems to or within internally developed solutions and to third party solutions.

The successful candidate will work with a team of IT professionals and client representatives to design and develop technical solutions based on business needs. Moreover, the candidate should feature extensive experience with the following technologies:

• .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET)
• SSIS
• BizTalk
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000/ 2005
• Web Services
• XML/XSL
• VBScript, JavaScript, HTML

Requirements include:

• At least five years of application development expeirence with the Microsoft toolset
• Experience with implementing, configuring and customizing internal-use applications
• BS in Computer Science, IS or related field
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
• The ability to mediate and manage conflict.
