CEI is seeking a Java Developer to develop Voice-over-IP (VoIP) solutions utilizing XML, Java, and graphical service creation environment (SCE). These applications form the core call- and media-processing component of our Client’s application portfolio. You should have previous experience building Java applications that integrate with relational database systems. Experience building telephony applications, while desirable, is not required. We’re looking for a software developer who likes new challenges and is willing and eager to learn VoIP protocols such as SIP (Session Initiation Protocol).

• Ability to independently develop Java applications
• Proficient in writing application-level SQL
• Understanding of Java-based relational database technologies; preferably Hibernate.
• Must have strong communications skills and enjoy an environment that demands a fast learner.
