CEI is seeking a Desktop Support Technician
2+ years of related technical support experience in a complex IT environment
Working knowledge of both MAC and Windows environments with strong technical support skills in at least one of the two platforms
1 year of experience delivering customer service either in person or on the phone
Experience installing and configuring email packages especially Outlook, Entourage
General understanding of various E-Mail protocols such as Exchange, IMAP and POP
Proficiency with mobile computing solution support, integration and configuration, e.g. Smart-phones, PDA, Blackberry, Palm, iPhone, DROID
Experience with email migrations to Exchange, where E-Mail clients and handhelds needed to be reconfigured carefully in order to avoid data loss
Knowledge of Thunderbird and Mac Mail
Experience in a higher education support environment
